World Ocean Day catalyzes collective action for a healthy ocean and a stable climate, working in collaboration with youth leaders and a wide range of organizations. World Ocean Day belongs to all groups and individuals, collectively, everywhere. It’s about how we can create a better future with an abundant ocean and a stable climate, by working together.

Ocean Tv Network and the beautiful island community of Maafushi will celebrate World Oceans Day 2024 on Saturday, June 8th, from 10:00 am to 10:00PM with a dynamic festival – Maafushi Loves Ocean.

We envision a vibrant festival filled with educational booths, interactive activities for all ages, captivating entertainment,and a beach clean-up to promote responsible tourism.

● Celebrate World Oceans Day and raise awareness about the importance of protecting our oceans and marine ecosystems.

● Educate attendees on the threats facing the ocean and inspire them to take action for a sustainable future.

● Generate environmental content to spread awareness beyond Maafushi.

● Introduce Ocean TV network and the event partners to the Maafushi community.
